It's been 90 minutes, and I just received my order. I have tried calling the restaurant several times for the past 20 minutes, and there has been no answer and the mailbox for voice messages is full. There is no other way to contact them to complain, follow up on my order or cancel. Is there any way to remove vendors like this from this website?

It's a tasty roll with lots of lobster and as I was there thinking to myself, I don't get why this place has such bad reviews..."CRUNCHHHH". Yeah, it was a piece of Lobster shell mixed into the lobster salad. I'm just glad I didn't bite any harder, or that may have resulted in serious dental work The blueberry tart is tasty but he cucumber salad is a little too creamy for my taste. I was expecting something a bit more on the healthy side

So I pretty much never review places, but because this one has so few positive ratings, I figured I should. Got the combo for lunch and while it did take some time (said 15 to 20 minutes, took about 55, I called after 45 and they said he was on the way), it was fairly good. Not amazing. I got the shrimp and lobster bisque which was good although not my personal favorite and the lobster roll which was also good but I've had better. Overall a solid place as long as you dont mind waiting a bit and from what I've read on yelp the deal is much better if you go pick it up, etc.

I have to give this place a one star but I would prefer the option of zero. I can't rate the food because the food never arrived! After being fobbed off several times that the delivery guy was on his way, I rang one hour and half after I placed my lunch order and the restaurant had closed! Needless to say I will never be ordering from this place again.

i waited 1.5 hours for my food! the lobster had no flavor but it was edible after i reheated the sandwich and added a pile of salt... its not the worst delivery i've ever gotten but definitely the longest wait ever for sure.. they really need to sit down and have a meeting on how to improve their delivery system because they are no doubt losing business. i know i'm never ordering from there again.

Horrible. Food took over an hour to arrive and when it did the soup was cold. The lobster in the roll tasted old or just not fresh (like it had been frozen and thawed) and there were so many lobster shells in it - I nearly chipped my tooth! ouch.

Order came 50 minutes late and when I called to ask the guy who picked up had an attitude and was not apologetic at the least or concern about his delivery guy being late. Food was below average.

I ordered in January of 2010. The order took 2.5 hours to arrive (I live in the West Village). I called numerous times and they continuously claimed 15 minutes. I got the lobster roll, which at this point was very cold. It tasted like canned lobster and crab,which was LITERALLY flavorless. In addition the bun was stale. The only reason I ate it at all was because I was starved. The cold soup (corn chowder) wasn't terrible, but it wasn't very good either. The side of cole slaw was the highlight of the meal, although it came in a condiment container about an inch in diameter. This was absolutely pathetic to me, that they would even include 2 bites of cole slaw and feature it as a "side". How much can cole slaw cost? That is a slap in the face to a customer. I'm not much of a "reviewer", but this was an all around pathetic dining experience. The manager seemed very busy, apologized, and told me he'd make it up to me if I ever came in, which I won't. I've heard they are better on location, but I felt it my duty to let everyone know about this place.

Not good. The $10.00 "tuna roll" is ordinary tuna salad on an ordinary hot dog bun. Disappointing is an understatement. The salmon burger is just barely so-so. This would have been forgivable if the phone guy hadn't assured me that the burger was "superb, excellent". I had called to ask if they could put a slice of cheese on it. By the way the answer is NO; They absolutely refuse to put cheese on the Salmon burger. The answer came only AFTER he had given me a preemptive lecture on calling to complain about delayed delivery (I wasn't complaining about tardiness - I just wanted cheese). I say. "Hello, I just ordered for delivery to [address]". He says immediately "You have to be patient sir. It takes 1/2 hour to 45 minutes". I requested the aforementioned cheese. He responds " You don't need the cheese. The salmon burger is superb, excellent". He was lying. It was... edible. I've walked by the location now and I wish I had done that before I ordered. Stay away

Not good. Lobster was chewy/rubbery and shredded into tiny bits. Did not taste fresh. Roll rubbery and stale. Bisque was so salty i had to stop after three spoonfuls. And there were chewy chunks that did not really make me think lobster or shrimp. if you get the urge to order here, let it pass. Expensive and disappointing.

These jokers failed to deliver my order after 90 minutes. When I called to get status, the manager told me they were done making deliveries for the evening, and "oh, well, no food for you tonight."

I love Urban Lobster. In one week I orderedfood from them 3 nights in a row. I love the lobster and crab bisque. I would eat here every single night and not get tired of the food.

Everything was below average. The best part of the meal was the bag of cape cod potato chips. The mac and cheese was really mushy and was very far from a comforting classic in the taste. It had a bit of a sourness. The lobster roll was under seasoned and just seemed like it was a waste for the lobster. Finally the lobster bisque tasted like it came from a can and didn't have fresh lobster in it.

The food was average. The service was poor. Delivery took over an hour. I was not informed about the delay. Restaurant didn't even apologize. Not acceptable in this price range.

The order I placed with seamless web came with an expected delivery time of 45-60 minutes later. Now, over 2 hours later, I still have not received my food from Urban Lobster. I've called 3 times to find out what's going on, and the guy yelled at me telling me that "there are big problems in the world and we're doing the best we can" and hung up on me. Since he had been telling me for over 50 minutes, when I first called, that the food was already on its way up for delivery, I'm rating the food on the basis of the condition I can only imagine it is in.

DISGUSTING CRAB ROLL. Mac and Cheese is Greasy. Baked Potato is DRY. Worst order ever, and I NEVER complain... for the amount you pay, i'd expect more.

One of the worst ordering experience yet. My order arrived in one hour and fifteen minutes. Ordered the spicy crab and corn soup, which tastes like cheap vegetable soup and made with IMITATION CRAB meat. How can a so-called seafood restaurant serve non-real crab (and it was cold due to the lengthy delivery time). The lobster roll was tiny and served on a limp, cold hotdog bun. Even the side of coldslaw in a condiment sized container. The chips were also in a miniature, snack sized pack. Given the price, one would expect much better (and more) food and service. I WILL NEVER ORDER FROM HERE AGAIN.

the food was tasty but NEVER ORDER DELIVERY FROM HERE. seamlessweb guided me to expect '15-30 minutes', the food arrived 50 minutes after i placed my order, soggy because of being dragged around for 20-30 minutes. probably worth the trouble to pick up, but not worth spending money for delivery food you won't even find edible when it arrives.

Crab cakes tastes like cornbread with a dash of crab. Don't order this. They charge a lot of money for a plate of mesclun lettuce --nothing else added --how can you have a salad with only one ingredient? Based on this one order - I won't order here again.
